faith is certainly build taking a course of time and desire too. People always need extra what we actually have , may be in term of devine help, power, wealth, health. that is why we are positive about such existance. nice story mentioned worship of bunyan tree which is big in size, have long long existance on the earth with unlimited kind of age  with smallest seeds which make it strong also the tree provides shelter to every on. so we easily create an perceptual error of looking for existance of god in the tree which at times get repeated and make our belief strong and convert into faith.Nothing wrong but better to motivate your self believing in in realities.
